Experience and expertise
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Jim is Chairman of Ivanti’s Board of Directors and also serves as the company’s CEO. He is responsible for all aspects of Ivanti’s strategy, execution, and operations.
Jim has more than 30 years of experience leading software and technology companies through periods of rapid growth, including extensive experience with private equity-backed businesses. Jim was the founder and CEO of global software leader Infor and led the company’s growth from $40 million to more than $2 billion in annual revenue in less than five years. He was also the CEO of Dun & Bradstreet Software and Primis Corporation and Executive Vice President and COO of Per-Se Technologies, which is now a part of McKesson.
Jim received his degree from the University of South Carolina where he was a two-time All-American long-distance runner and still maintains a school record. He was inducted into the university’s Hall of Fame in 2019 for his achievements.
As President of Ivanti, Jeff oversees all aspects of product and go-to-market strategy and execution, including product development, product management, marketing, global sales, customer experience, and operations.
Jeff has over 25 years of experience working for large software and services companies, including Accenture, Oracle, and Infor. At Oracle, Jeff was the General Manager of a global operating unit with full profit and loss (P&L) responsibility and oversaw the entire sales structure for 66% of Oracle’s customer base. At Infor, Jeff held numerous global executive roles leading alliances, channels, marketing, and product management.
Jeff holds degrees from Georgia State University and the University of Tennessee. He sits on the Board of the Georgia Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and is a National Board Member of the Posse’ Foundation—which is a nonprofit that identifies, recruits and trains student leaders from high schools across the United States.
Chief Financial Officer
Michael is the CFO of Ivanti and is responsible for the company’s financial, IT, legal, real estate, and human resources functions.
He has a proven track record of helping organizations drive growth, minimize financial risks, and implement financial risks and controls. Michael spent the first 18 years of his career at Ingram Micro in various accounting and finance roles, before becoming CFO of Tolt Solutions. Michael was most recently CFO of JetSmarter.
He holds a BA in Finance from the University of Utah, and an MBA from Pepperdine. He is also a Certified Management Accountant.
Executive Vice President and Chief Customer Officer
Mary is the Chief Customer Officer at Ivanti, where she is responsible for customer success, support, and service. She works across the organization to deliver an excellent customer experience to all customers.
Mary has decades of experience in the technology industry, including executive and general management assignments in Europe and the United States, working for software and consulting companies. She’s held sales, services and operational leadership roles at Information Advantage, Sterling Software, and Harris Corporation.
Mary studied Management Information Systems at the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities and has a Customer Success Management Certification from Rutgers. She serves on the Executive Board of Technical Services Industry Association (TSIA) and is also a member of Forrester’s Customer Experience Advisory Council.
Senior Vice President of Global Operations
Mark is the Senior Vice President of Global Operations at Ivanti and is responsible for the sales, services, marketing and development operations teams and PMO.
Mark has been a finance and operations leader for more than 20 years, his most recent role was that of vice president of finance for Avetta, a fast-growing software company in facility management, energy and manufacturing. He has held controller and financial roles at other technology companies and was previously the vice president of sales operations and partner programs and vice president of finance at Ivanti – we’re thrilled to have him back on the Ivanti team!
He holds a BA in International Relations from Brigham Young University and an MBA in finance from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
Senior Vice President and General Manager of Independent Business Unit, Supply Chain Business Unit, and License Management
John Flavin manages Ivanti’s IBU and SCBU teams, which are organized and operate as complete organizations within Ivanti. He has more than 25 years in executive management, sales and consulting experience in application software.
Prior to joining Ivanti, John was an executive at Infor. He joined Infor through the acquisition of Future Three, where he was President and CEO. At Infor, his roles included global leadership responsibility for sales for manufacturing and distribution, professional services and product strategy and development. John’s background includes similar senior roles at JBA International and Unisys.
Previously, at Ford Motor Company and Massey Ferguson, Ltd., John was involved in direct production and manufacturing. He also served on the Board of the Auto Industry Action Group (AIAG). He holds a BS in Economics from Eastern Michigan University.
Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer
As CMO of Ivanti, Angie manages all aspects of Ivanti’s marketing, including all internal and external communications, campaigns, digital marketing, field marketing, and events.
Angie has been a technology and software marketing leader for more than 20 years, including broad experience in high-growth companies with frequent acquisitions and integrations. She was one of the first corporate marketing employees at Infor where she was Vice President of Marketing. Most recently she was Vice President and head of marketing for Gordian.
She received her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Marketing from Georgia State University.
Senior Vice President of Global Sales
Cyrus is the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at Ivanti and is responsible for leading the core sales organization.
Cyrus joined Ivanti in 2016 and has been influential in shaping Ivanti’s sales organization, all with a focus on the customer. Previous to Ivanti, Cyrus served as the Vice President of Digital Commerce Solutions at Pitney Bowes Software and Vice President of Enterprise Sustainability Solutions at Infor.
He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Marshall University.
Brooke manages Ivanti’s global legal department and advises the company on a wide range of legal and business affairs.
Brooke joined Ivanti in 2017 as Senior Counsel, working her way up to the department by overseeing global sales transactions and managing licensing, litigation, privacy, security, employment issues, facilities and other pressing matters for the international team. Prior to Ivanti, Brooke was a managing partner at Manning Curtis Bradshaw & Bednar, representing public and private companies in a variety of business and commercial disputes.
Brooke received her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Utah and holds a J.D. from the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law.
Executive Vice President & Chief Product Officer
Nayaki Nayyar is the Executive Vice President and Chief Product Office at Ivanti. She is responsible for driving Ivanti’s next generation innovation in Cybersecurity, Robotic Automation, Endpoint and Edge Device Management, and Enterprise Service Management.
Prior to joining Ivanti, Nayaki was President of the Digital Service and Operations Management Business Unit at BMC Software, Inc., where she led BMC’s evolution into the cognitive era with launch and growth of the BMC Helix suite. Nayaki also served as General Manager of SAP’s Internet of Things division and held senior leadership positions in corporate strategy and SAP’s cloud unit. She was senior vice president of SAP’s cloud for customer engagement business unit, where she drove significant growth in the company’s cloud, CRM, and mobile business units. Nayaki gained tremendous industry experience during her early years at Shell and Valero.
Nayaki currently serves on the board of Veritone, a leading provider of artificial intelligence technology solutions and on the board of Corteva, Inc.. a publicly traded agriscience company. She holds a B.E. in mechanical engineering from Osmania University (India) and an M.S. in computer science from the University of Houston, and she is a graduate of the Stanford Executive Program.
